Mixed Adventures

Mixed Adventures is a rules hack for the ttrpg, Dungeon World. The hack incorporates some of my favorite elements from other hacks for Dungeon World, along with other PbtA games.

To make it easier to get feedback, I have very roughly added all the text for the various play materials into google documents. So if you want to help out and find errors or have suggestions, feel free to let me know.

Future plans include making a gsheet character keeper to make online play easier and try to and adding a more interesting version of the Immolator.

Change Overview

• Magic doesn't use a spell list, but is more freeform and flows from the conversation.
  
• Attributes no longer use big numbers, and are just a flat number. There are also fewer and they have been replaced. HP is fixed at a certain level defined by the class.
• Combat have been rolled into one move.
• The old “Take Best / Take Worst” has been replaced by Advantage/Disadvantage. The only move that use it is damage (as per vanilla Dungeon World)..
• Race and the moves associated with them, have been removed and replaced by Heritage which don't have predetermined moves, but are made as you play.
• Alignment has become Drives.
• Gear has been changed to use a different method to determine load. Consumables such as rations, have been merged into Supplies.
• A lot of the basic and class moves have been changed or replaced.
• Wealth is now much more abstract.
• The Immolator has been removed due to being quite flavorless and boring.
